Meet Our Coaches

Great coaches do more than teach baseball—they help shape character, build confidence, and inspire a lifelong love for the game. At Westchester Immortals, our staff combines professional playing experience, high-level coaching, and a shared commitment to developing young athletes in a positive, competitive environment.

Joe Lagano, Westchester Immortals youth baseball coach

Joe Lagano

Hitting & Player Development

Joe Lagano has spent more than twenty years doing one thing exceptionally well: teaching young players how to hit—and how to grow. As the lead for hitting and player development at Westchester Immortals, he brings professional-caliber instruction to the age when the right teaching matters most. Kids who train with Joe don't just get drills. They get a coach who understands exactly where a player is today and exactly how to get him where he's going.

Sean Morgan, Westchester Immortals youth baseball coach

Sean Morgan

Pitching Coach — Mechanics, Mentality & Compete Level

Sean Morgan is the pitching coach at Westchester Immortals, and his job is simple to describe and hard to do well: help young arms throw better, healthier, and with more confidence. He has spent more than a decade giving private pitching instruction to players across the Greater Los Angeles area, which means he has taught kids at exactly the age our 8–12 year olds are now — the age where habits, good or bad, start to stick.

Shaun Cooney, Westchester Immortals youth baseball coach

Shaun Cooney

Assistant Coach, Player Development — Preparation & Accountability

Shaun Cooney is an assistant coach focused on player development for Westchester Immortals, and he is one of the coaches parents get to know quickly. He is a community connector and a steady, approachable presence for families — the kind of coach who knows the players' names, their tendencies, and what makes each one tick.

Scott Harding

Youth Development Coach

Scott Harding played varsity baseball at Loyola, where he served as team captain. He spent three years coaching middle and high school players before moving into youth baseball, where he has coached for the last five years.
