The Creed

Built for the Long Game

The Westchester Immortals are not a team. They are a brotherhood forged in fire. Every rep, every swing, every ground ball taken in the dirt — a brick laid in the foundation of something that outlasts any single season.

We do not chase trophies. We build character that cannot be broken. We develop athletes who are dangerous on the field and exceptional off it. Multi-sport. Multi-dimensional. Immortal in effort.

This is Westchester. This is our game. There can be only one.

Frequently Asked Questions

Clear standards. Direct communication. A program designed to develop the whole athlete and support the family behind them.

What is the Immortals approach to playing time?
Every Immortals player receives equal coaching investment and deserves meaningful opportunities to develop across the season. Playing time is earned through effort, practice attendance, readiness, and a team-first attitude. Game context, player safety, and the competitive situation may shape individual game decisions, so equal innings in every game are not guaranteed.
What are the attendance expectations?
Practices are a core part of player development. Families should make every reasonable effort to attend the regular Monday and Thursday schedule and notify coaches as early as possible when school, family commitments, illness, or another sport creates a conflict. Attendance and readiness are considered when coaches make game-day decisions.
Are multi-sport athletes welcome?
Yes. Westchester Immortals supports multi-sport athletes. We believe different sports build better overall athletes and help young players maintain balance. The expectation is straightforward: communicate conflicts early, respect team commitments, and be ready to compete when you are with the team.
What tournaments will we play?
The 2027 tournament schedule is being finalized and will be released soon. We will prioritize smaller local tournaments and scrimmages that give players meaningful reps, game experience, and development—not simply a crowded schedule of games. Events will be selected based on each team’s readiness and family calendar. Specific tournament dates and locations will be shared with families once confirmed.
What if we missed evals?
Families who missed an Open Development Workout should still submit an inquiry or contact the program. When roster availability permits, our staff can coordinate a follow-up evaluation or conversation. Placement depends on age eligibility, player development, experience, and current team needs.
How are 2027 age groups determined?
Travel baseball age groups are determined by a player's age as of May 1, 2027. A player who is 9 on that date is eligible for 10U; a player who is 10 is eligible for 11U. A birthday on May 1 counts as having reached that age. Final placement also considers age eligibility, player development, experience, and team needs.
